Eva Matthaiou

Hi I’m Eva!

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Zoology from the University of Sussex, and an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Anglia Ruskin University, Writtle.

I was born in Greece and spent my teenage years in Qatar, where my passion for horses began when I started riding. Growing up, I always knew I wanted a career working with animals, which led me to the UK to study Zoology. During my degree, I developed a particular interest in neurobiology and animal behaviour, while becoming increasingly fascinated by animal movement and wellbeing.

This interest eventually led me to veterinary rehabilitation, and I went on to complete my MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy. During my studies, I discovered a real passion for rehabilitation and helping animals recover, improve their movement and return to doing what they love.

After qualifying, I worked full-time as a Veterinary Physiotherapist in Cyprus, where I had the opportunity to work with a large and varied caseload, gaining valuable clinical experience across a range of conditions.

I’m now very excited to begin this new chapter with Physio Evolution in Dubai. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue developing as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, work alongside such an experienced team, and help animals achieve a healthier, more active and fulfilling life.
