Holly Thompson

I’m originally from the UK where I completed my integrated master’s degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Anglia Ruskin University (formerly Writtle University). Alongside my studies, I expanded my clinical skills with RockTape Equine + Human Taping and a Level 4 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy, allowing me to support animals with a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation. Throughout my degree, I had the opportunity to work at various events around the world which ignited my love for travelling. After graduating in November 2024, I spent eight months travelling across Asia. Experiencing so many cultures and ways of life made me realise how much I valued living abroad - it quickly became a bucket list goal and something I knew I wanted to pursue in my 20s. When the opportunity arose to work in Dubai, I couldn’t resist. For me, Dubai is the perfect place to continue developing my career while embracing life in a new country. Personally, the most rewarding part of this profession is seeing the difference physiotherapy can make to an animal’s comfort, mobility, and overall wellbeing, whilst supporting their owners through what can often be a challenging journey. I’m incredibly grateful for the warm welcome I’ve received in Dubai, and I’m excited to be part of the Physio Evolution team as we continue to grow and provide outstanding care to animals across the UAE.
