Lucy Davies
Veterinary Physiotherapist
Growing up on a farm in West Wales, I was surrounded by animals and developed a love for the outdoors from a young age. As a teenager, I represented my country in both Athletics and Equestrian and after experiencing my fair share of injuries, I was naturally drawn to physiotherapy. I completed my BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Brunel University London, where I developed crucial clinical reasoning and communication skills that I’ve carried into my work with animals.
With a lifelong passion for horses, I went on to complete a PG Dip in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Hartpury University. Having worked in the equine industry since I was 15, I’m especially interested in performance horses and rehabilitation. Back in the UK, I was a keen Event rider and have always admired the athleticism and character of these incredible animals.
Joining the fantastic team at Physio Evolution and moving to the UAE has been a dream come true. I feel very lucky to work in a role where my passion and profession align so closely.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and staying active through various sports and riding. The ever-changing nature of our patients and treatment techniques keeps this profession exciting and deeply rewarding. It’s a privilege to help improve the lives of the animals we treat, both small and large!
