Established in 2017, Physio Evolution is one of the leading animal physiotherapy providers in the UAE. As an independent referral centre, with a strong focus on rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and hydrotherapy - we cater to horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, exotics and more!

Our journey began with a deep passion for animal well-being, evolving into a trusted independent practice, dedicated to enhancing the health and mobility of our animal companions.

We are proud to be the official education partner in 'Advanced and Innovative Animal Physiotherapy' at Gulf Medical University (Thumbay College of Veterinary Medicine) working to provide real-world exposure and animal physiotherapy training for students who are in higher education, studying veterinary medicine in the UAE.

Animal Physiotherapy in the UAE

Animal Physiotherapy is an allied health profession, recognised here in the UAE by the Dubai Municipality (DM) Veterinary Services and regulated by The Ministry of Climate Change & Environment (MOCCAE). The profession is carried out by qualified human physiotherapists who have passed a further two-year postgraduate degree in Animal Physiotherapy.

In the UK this profession is recognised by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) which is an independent, UK-wide regulatory body responsible for setting and maintaining standards of professional training, performance and conduct of health care professionals. Our team are also active members of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT). ACPAT is a Professional Network Group of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and represents the interests of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy.
